Attia’s farmer carry standard: body weight for 1 minute is good for a man in his 40s
How much should I be able to farmer carry?
The finding
A man in his 40s carrying his body weight on a trap bar for 1 minute is "good" and for 2 minutes "very good". For a woman, 75% of body weight is "excellent". Discount about 10% per decade after 40.

How it was studied
Coaching opinion in podcast show notes, with no data behind it.
The numbers
He calls twice body weight for 30 seconds "exceptional strength", and frames the 1–2 minute target as for "maybe sub-elite athletes".
What it does not show
Coaching opinion summarised in show notes. No population was sampled and no outcome was measured.
What Longstanding does with it
The app’s carry test uses a different format (distance at half your body weight for men, 40% for women), and its bands are our own provisional estimates, not Attia’s and not anyone’s data. The site labels them that way.
